Prospective & Incoming Students

Join Liberty High School's Award Winning NJROTC Program!

Do you want to do something different?  Stand out in a crowd?  Be part of something bigger than yourself?  Be challenged mentally and physically?  Give back to your community?  Learn how to lead others?  Then you should become a member of Patriot Company, Liberty High School's award winning Naval Junior Officers Training Corps (NJROTC)!

NJROTC is the premier citizenship and leadership development program in the country and the only one of its kind in the Issaquah School District.  We are 100 cadets strong and have something for everyone!  From underwater robotics and network cyber security, to armed drill, color guards, physical fitness, and orienteering.  Our students have the opportunity to excel in ways other high school courses just can't provide.  And we have fun while we're doing it!

NJROTC, or Naval Science, is a regular class in the Liberty High School curriculum.  Mondays and Fridays are academic days during which we teach leadership skills, civics/federal and state government, history, and discuss current events and matters impacting the military and our national security.  Tuesdays and Wednesdays are physical fitness daysWe encourage all cadets to maintain excellent physical fitness and teach them simple exercises they can do on a daily basis in order to improve their physical health.  And Thursdays are uniform days when all cadets must wear their issued NJROTC uniform and maintain good grooming standards.  On uniform days cadets are inspected and given an oral general military knowledge quiz.

If you are interested in becoming a part of this challenging and award winning program, talk to your counselor or register for Naval Science 1 (NAV 100) during course registration.  And remember, Naval Science fulfills Physical Education (PE - so you don't have to take PE if you take Naval Science), Career Technical Education (CTE) and elective  graduation requirements.

Welcome to Patriot Company!
