Our Mission

Patriot Company’s mission is to develop the students of Liberty into better citizens and leaders:

• Use what you get from the program and apply it to other activities (i.e. performing arts, Honor Society, sports teams, and other classes)

• Promote service to the community and show options for future careers in service to the country

• Set an example of professionalism for your peers in and out of NJROTC

• Be proud of one’s accomplishments as well as others

• Create an environment that is accepting and sparks growth

Our Method

Here at Liberty, we build cadets up to cooperative team members and eventually team leaders:

• Promote an active and engaging classroom environment to foster better citizenship and leadership development

• Build a family-like community focused on esprit de corps and camaraderie

• Encourage greater understanding and utilization of the chain of command

• Promote mutual respect throughout the unit and across grade levels and ranks

• Learn to accept mistakes and triumphs with a positive outlook and a growth mindset

• Promote stopping turmoil/drama within the unit

• Promote cadet and unit accomplishments

End State

Each cadet should take pride in the unit, their uniform, and each other. We aim to exceed our achievements in previous years, requiring each cadet to demonstrate a commitment to excellence and dedication to the unit.

Here are a few standards we expect everyone in the unit to attain:

• 100% uniform participation

• Active studying throughout the year

• Demonstrate conduct that inspires others to follow, both within and beyond the unit

• Promotions – Every cadet advances at least once during the school year

• Every cadet completes 20 hours of community service

• Every cadet earns the participation ribbon (attending events such as Navy Ball, field trips, Campus Clean-up, and helping host our home drill meet)

• Every cadet passes their classes, making them eligible to compete on NJROTC teams

• Every cadet maintains respect for their peers
