To help some of you understand why we chose the goals that we chose, here is the question that we asked ourselves:
"If every other area of our operation remained at its current level of performance, what is the one area where change would make the greatest impact?"
  • Have successful use of the Chain of Command. This year we are trying out Platoon Petty Officers for each department head. We hope this will lead to better training and delegation of the tasks at hand that need to be accomplished.
  • Instill a sense of Unity. Our plan is host more events and unit parties so that each and every cadet feels welcome. We also plan on every cadet purchasing a Patriot Company T-shirt to add to the sense of unity.
  • Have the most successful Basic Leadership Training camp Liberty has seen. Have a well developed and trained staff, have lessons for the cadets that apply to their everyday life, make the camp challenging for each individual leaving each cadet with a sense of pride and accomplishment, make the camp an awarding experience.
  • Have more cadets rank higher in the unit by successfully completing requirements and tests to do so.
  • Have unit homework specific to each grade level that is relevant to their year in the unit.

We believe that by making the Unit COC work, other things will fall into place. Those things being unit morale, participation, and much more.
To achieve these goals WE NEED EVERYONE to participate. These goals aren't just for the staff to achieve- they're for all of us to achieve.
Only when we act as a team- will this Unit achieve its goals.
